The Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association Inc. (CUFCA) promotes the use of spray polyurethane foam insulation (SPF) in all application while providing the end user with a level of comfort that the installation will be done safely and properly. CUFCA woks will all parties to have SPF used in every conceivable application. The purpose of the SPF Quality Assurance Program used by CUFCA is to provide the manufacturer with a program which assists them in their responsibility of having the spray polyurethane foam installed in accordance with their instructions and the CAN/ULC S705.2 Installation Standard. The program provides the consumers, building owners and government agencies with confidence in the spray polyurethane foam industry and a superior installed product. The Program not only ensures that the materials meets a high level of performance but also ensures that it will perform properly by addressing the installation requirements. Foam Insulation Features CCMC Approved for Use in Buildings Meets CAN/ULC S705.1 Material Specification Excellent Insulating Properties (High R-Value) Tested by independent laboratories Applied exclusively by Certified Contractors under the requirements of CAN/ULC S705.2 Rigid, does not settle over time Air Barrier function Application and curing temperatures -5°C to +35°C Service range temperature -60°C to +80°C Exceeds all building codes for air barrier systems Provides a drainage plane (water barrier)
