Spring Air engineers and manufactures energy efficient commercial kitchen ventilation systems. RevLow and DynaFlow, two of our UL/ULC listed exhaust hood designs, can eliminate as much as 50% of the exhaust requirement (vs. a conventional commercial kitchen exhaust hood)at the design stage. Eliminating exhaust at design alows for smaller duct sizes; exhaust and supply fan motor sizes; and a reduction and heating and cooling loads. TruFlow, our Energy Management Controller, is a UL/CSA listed demand control ventilation system for commercial kitchens. TruFlow will reduce average daily exhaust by as much as 55% which dramatically cuts energy use and will reduce gas and electric costs. TruFlow is designed to help owners and managers build and maintain energy efficient behaviours in their cooking staffs. KES is our pollution control unit for commercial kitchens. KES is UL/ULC listed for side-wall discharge of commercial kitchen exhaust as it eliminates 99.999% of all grease and particulate in the exhaust stream. All of these products can be considered for LEED point accumulation. We can help you determine the best way to apply them for LEED pointsw (NC or EB).
