Since 2002 the CaGBC has been Canada’s voice for the green building industry. Join us for our 10th Anniversary celebrations at our annual Conference and Exhibition June 11-13, 2012 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The National Conference will attract over 1,000 delegates from across the country and provides the Canadian green building industry with a convenient, affordable way to get the latest industry information, tools and policy updates The focus for 2012 is Beyond Buildings: The Green City. While the transformation of Canada’s buildings and communities is happening, it needs to occur on a larger scale and be based on a broader set of issues critical for a healthy environment and better quality of life for Canadians. Many cities in Canada accelerate their sustainability agenda through green building, neighbourhood revitalization, existing building upgrades, and sustainable infrastructure development. These strategies are complemented by alternative transportation choices, restoration of the natural environment, food security, resilience and green jobs. We’ll bring together the best thinkers, strategists, practitioners and decision-makers from Canada and abroad to share what we can do to make greener cities a reality.
