The LEED 2009 for Neighbourhood Development (LEED ND) Rating System with Canadian alternative compliance paths (ACPs) addresses sustainable development at the community scale.  Get up to speed quickly on the LEED ND rating system and learn about what ACPs are approved for Canada.

During this interactive one-day course, an expert instructor will provide an overview of the rating system and ACPs. The requirements associated with each credit will be discussed and participants will review acceptable technologies and strategies, as well as see examples of projects that have achieved LEED ND certification. They will also have the opportunity to work through a real-life case study, including reviewing actual project results. The course will finish with several sample practice questions that will test and reinforce what participants’ have learned. Participants will leave the classroom with a copy of the presentation slides, case study activity worksheets, and a copy of the LEED 2009 for Neighbourhood Development Rating System with Canadian Alternative Compliance Paths. This workshop, like any CaGBC education program, meets eligibility requirements for the LEED Green Associate exam.  Full course description.
