Dear Greater Toronto Chapter member,

Its hard to believe that the holiday season is here already. It's been a great year and we haveCAGBC_Tor_colour_small_for_newsletter.JPG even more to look forward to in 2009. Below are a few items to note as we head into the New Year:

A complete list of presenters will be available in early January.

2008 Annual General Meeting

A couple of weeks ago, we hosted our 3rd  Annual General Meeting at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre during the Construct Canada Conference. It was a big success and the more than 160 attendees enjoyed scrumptious food and drink, a review of the past year as well as glimpse of our bright future in 2009 and beyond. Special thanks to our hosts Construct Canada for providing the facilities for the event, to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for providing the food and to our volunteers Jay, Tom and Jerry for staffing the event. Minutes from the AGM will be made available on our Web site in January.

Thanks to volunteers in 2008.

We have an incredibly willing and capable group of volunteers with the Chapter. Our dedicated volunteers have helped to ensure that Chapter meetings, workshops and training and trade show displays were always well staffed and that the Chapter was represented professionally. Big thanks to our volunteers in 2008!
