Building Restoration Technician Program

Restoration is one of the key principles of sustainable design. As masonry and brick structures age and decay, there is growing demand for people who have the skill to restore and revitalize them. Residential, commercial and industrial structures, such as hotels, underground parking garages, churches, offices, bridges and condominiums, require skilled restoration professionals who understand the building techniques used at the time of construction, whether five years or a century ago. This two-year program at George Brown College is the only program in Ontario that addresses the severe shortage of skilled people in the restoration industry.
