Chapter Annual General Meeting - June 22nd 

The Annual General Meeting of the CaGBC-GTC will take place at the Autodesk Office on June 22nd, 2010 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM.

Join us for an evening of reflection as we review the Chapter's 2009 financial performance and achievements, and reveal exciting upcoming changes for 2010!

The evening's presentations include a message from the Board Chair Larry Brydon, reports from each Chapter Committee, and the results from our 2010 Board of Directors election.

The program will be followed by a networking reception with the newly elected Board of Directors.

The CaGBC-GTC has partnered with the Earth Rangers Foundation and MCW Group of companies for an exclusive evening of building tours, presentations, barbeque and networking at the LEED Gold Earth Rangers facility in Woodbridge, ON. 

Event's Highlights

• Meet the Earth Ranger's Ambassadors
• Building Tours - Get an insider's peek of the Centre's innovative green technologies
• Presentations:
           - Andy Schonberger, Director of Facility Operations,will be speaking about Earth Ranger's target to achieve LEED EB;O&M by the end of 2010
           - David Bellamy, President of the MCW Group of Companies, will be speaking about MCW’s work with Earth Rangers to make the Centre carbon neutral
• Networking barbeque (provided by JTAC)

Election Update - Online Voting

The Greater Toronto Chapter is pleased to announce it has received 16 nominations for the 6 open positions in the Board of Directors election.

Online voting will commence on Friday, June 11th and close on Friday, June 18th at 1pm EST.

Voting is open to paid members only. Join before 5:00pm EST, Thursday, June 17th to cast your vote for the 2010 election.

The Canada Green Building Council Greater Toronto Chapter and the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers have partnered to offer a Green Building Walking Tour in downtown Toronto! The tour will take place on July 15th, 2010 and will provide individuals a chance to network and learn more about 2 downtown locations: the Enwave Plant and the brand new Telus Tower by the Air Canada Centre.

The walking tour will start at 1pm, at the Enwave Plant and will end at 4:00pm. We will then go to a nearby pub for drinks and an opportunity to network with industry colleagues. Tour prices are: $40.00 dollars for CaGBC-GTC paid member; and $50.00 dollars for non-members. Please note that space for this tour is extremely limited and tickets often sell out in hours, not days.
